Softening of the brain in Texas? You have no idea. This time Texas, Mexico, and the U.S. Federal Government are quietly working through groups of "distinguished citizens" that report back to someone in the government.

The project is familiar Europeans: regional unity under a parliament; a blending of populations; a new currency; erasure of borders, and so on.

The project is in working committees. The only part visible to the citizenry is the upcoming NAFTA Highway that will begin construction in 2007, to link a port in Western Mexico to cities in Canada.

The unpopular EU forges ahead in spite of "No" votes, and as the three leaders of North America have already signed, and their surrogates and NGOs are working to formulate the plan, one wonders, when the time comes, whether or not a "No" vote by ordinary U.S. citizens will have any effect.

Presently we are preoccupied with the War in Iraq, the War on Terror, the economy, Iran and nuclear weapons, the re-emergence of Russia, the "China Problem", high fuel costs, the "Palestinian Problem", death of Zarqawi, Afghanistan, scandals, wiretapping, and so on. This story has been eclipsed by those previously mentioned. Don't be surprised when it eventually leaps to the forefront.

Oh yes, we are also perturbed about the growing influence of Islam in the United States...but it's hard to fit it in among all the others...

There are weakminded people everywhere. Church has to take care of these matters, come out with a clearer message to its people.
