Visitors to this website will know that this blog was ‘locked’ for a period of over two weeks.
I am pleased to be able to report today that the website has now been ‘unlocked’. I am therefore now able to resume blogging.
No explanation has been given as to why the blogspot was locked in the first place; so the reason for the problem will remain a mystery.
I should like to thank all of you who took the trouble to email Blogger / Google in support of me and this blogspot. I would like you all to know how much I appreciate your loyalty and support.
My thanks go to Blogger / Google for restoring this blogspot to full functionality.
So now it’s back to business as usual.

Not sure, but your problem could very well have been an ad that was running on your site.
I wonder this: were you able to at least go to your settings? Next time this happens, try disallowing ads temporarily if you can, and then make observations.
I was one of the peeps who sent a message to blogger, complaining that your site wasn't a spam site.
Just a thought though, you may want to investigate this.

But the only ads I run on my site are for my flower websites, and for my book. Those have been there for ages. And they are still there. They have restored the blog despite the ads. So I don't know about this. Thanks for the suggestion, though. I shall be vigilant in future.

Yes, I was able to go to my settings. Though I didn't try to change any of them, so I don't know if they were disabled or not.
The only thing I changed was the sidebar. I got rid of some of the Christmas things, and added the message to my visitors on the top of it.

That's what I was thinking too. I was also wondering whether it had anything to do with yesterday's Inauguration of Barack Hussein Obama!
