Forest Online : Dr Neil McKeganey – The Pleasure of Smoking

Feb 27, 2017 | On 22nd February 2017 Dr Neil McKeganey, director of the Centre for Substance Use Research in Glasgow, summarised the results of the CSUR study 'The Pleasure of Smoking: The Views of Confirmed Smokers' which was funded by the smokers' group Forest.

I have not smoked since April 2022. I have had no problem not smoking. I have not cheated even once. But when I think back to my smoking years, I look back with joy and pleasure.

I suggest that smoking should be made cool again! People these days do far worse things than enjoy smoking a cigarette.
