Isn't this something the people should say a firm 'NO' to? Shouldn't the voice of the people be heard in a true democracy? Must the people be ignored in this arrogant way? Or is our 'democracy' a sham? Don't these people realize that this would send the very WRONG message at this delicate time, when Islam is flexing its muscles here in the UK and throughout the world? Are the 'powers that be' clueless?

The coronation of the Prince of Wales will be a "multi-faith" event.
Prayers and readings from other denominations and religions, including from the Muslim, Sikh and Jewish faiths, are expected to be included in the ceremonies marking Prince Charles's accession to the throne.
Canon John Hall, the Dean-elect of Westminster Abbey, said that the traditional Church of England coronation service must be revised to reflect society's changes since the Queen's coronation in 1953. As dean, he will be on the committee responsible for drawing up the service.

Things have certainly changed, but not for the better! Great Britain no longer has a culture in keeping with the tradition of centuries. Immigrants have moved in and are refusing to assimilate; rather, they want to change the essence of British society and law.
A multicultural coronation will pave the way for the further undermining of British values.
Can you imagine such a mutlicultural ceremony in any Islamic nation? Of course not. Wouldn't happen. Muslims are careful to preserve their traditions; the West is not. And therein sounds the death knell for the West.

I haven't been doing much in the blogosphere, especially during this past week. Back woes, made worse by the cessation of all medications so that a diagnostic test could be run this past Friday. I had to stop outside my healthcare plan and get a specialist with the necessary knowledge and the proper, modern equipment. I still don't have a treatment plan, but hope to this week, after the docs have consulted. Once I'm feeling better, I can return "full time" to the blogosphere!

Yes, remember reading about the fuss they made about Edward? They made such a song and dance about that liaison; yet, as you rightly say, what is happening now is of so much more import.

I don't know about the Commonwealth. Perhaps Quisabelle would be able to answer that. The I believe that the British people are not best pleased; however, they are not given a voice. The press keep it all so muted, it is difficult to tell. You know what the MSM is like, don't you?
