Bin Laden like Hitler, says Bush
BBC: President George W Bush has compared Osama Bin Laden to Lenin and Hitler in a speech to US military officers.

"Underestimating the words of evil and ambitious men is a terrible mistake," he said as he quoted extensively from Bin Laden and other al-Qaeda figures.

He said the world had ignored the writings of Lenin and Hitler "and paid a terrible price" - adding the world must not to do the same with al-Qaeda. Bush compares Bin Laden to Hitler

He gets it at least, doesn't he...?

The vultures are out for Blair. Nothing to do with principle.

They're simply concerned to hang on to their parliamentary seats...

No great fan of Tony Blair, simply worried about what comes next (either from Noo Labour or Noo Tory).

It is interesting to note that Bush compares OBL to Hitler, yet he fails to comprehend that OBL espouses the true tenets of Islam!

Further, Bush seems to insist that Islam is the "religion of peace". So what conclusions can we draw here?

It would appear that there is a contradiction here.

Bin laden like hitler? okay, i can agree with that, but its coming from BUSH!

So what? You are not seriously telling us that one can compare Bush with Hitler, are you? Go read your history books.

Bin laden has had the hand in the murder of thousands of people, while bush has had a hand in killing hundreds of thousands. so both are bad as each other. they don't care about their troops, their people, their religion. they only care about themselves.

No, both are not as bad as each other. That's a very simplistic view; and it is also untrue.

Bush is fighting for the freedom and liberty of the world. He has to do this because Bin Laden has forced him to do so. Bin Laden is the aggressor here, not Bush.

Of course Bush cares about his troops and his people. Yes, all politicians care about themselves, and some care about themselves more than others; but don't believe for one minute that Bush doesn't care about his troops and his people, for you would be very mistaken to think that.

He also cares about his religion. Devout Christians think and care about their religion every bit as much as Muslims do; though they generally don't make such a display of their devotion. In Christianity, we are supposed to keep our religion to ourselves. We are taught NOT to make a public display of our prayers; rather, we are to pray in private (except in church), where only God can see us! Compare that with Islam, a religion in which Muslims make a public display of their devotion and prayers.

mark tell me, how islam is not the religion of peace????????????????????????????????

I would need all day, and then some, to be able to answer that question in full. And then I would need even more time!

Just read unbiassed history books, and you will come to realize that Islam has been spread by the sword, and has always had an expansionist vision.

There is NOTHING peaceful about Islam. Islam is aggressive and expansionist and restive.

Some people try and say that Islam's very name means 'peace'. It doesn't! 'Islam' means SUBMISSION. That's what Islam means. And your prophet told you, as did your god, Allah, to fight in His way, to fight the unbelievers, until all submit to Him. What's PEACEFUL about that? So your god certainly doesn't believe in free choice, does he?

It states in Islam that there is no compulsion in religion; yet 'Allah states' that all must be fought until they submit to Him (or be forced to live in dhimmitude as second class citizens), as did your prophet. There's not much consistency there. It sounds to me as though Allah is fickle!

If you want a peaceful religion, then turn to Christianity. Christianity is the thinking man's religion. One has to be intelligent to understand it, I realize. But therein lies its beauty!

Jesus was the Prince of Peace; Muhammad, the Prince of Darkness!
