Israel fights West's war to rid world of Islamic extremism

It is an axiom of Israeli military operation that its armed forces must hurry to achieve victory before international pressure forces them to stop.
Yet after bombarding Lebanon for five days, and causing pain to ordinary civilians unseen since the civil war ended 15 years ago, the international outcry is surprisingly muted. If anything, as the conflict has intensified and the regional stakes have risen, Israel has found a degree of international sympathy, or at least understanding.
Lebanon has become the battleground between pro-western and radical Islamic forces. Few governments, even Arab states, want to see Hizbollah win the contest. Israel fights West's cause against radical Islam by Anton La Guardia

The morons in France seem to forget that Hezbollah is a terrorist group and that it has been linked to the IEDs in Iraq. I did laugh when I read a quote in the middle of the riots seeking the removal of French Police from the Occupied territories in FRANCE.
The time has come for this double word game of duplicity with Arab terrorists to end. Israel needs boots on the ground and to capture these Iranian mercenaries and doccuments shbowing where the IEDs in Iraq come from. Then it is bombs away in Iran and Syria and time to organize Kurdish rebels in both areas.
Mark, looks like a defining moment in history may be upon us. We live in interesting times. How's the price of petrol in Mother England? Lee

Welcome back! I hope you had a good holiday in Australia.
Yes, these are indeed interesting times. The Israelis are the only ones with the guts to do something about this Islamic threat to the civilized world. The British and Americans just pussyfoot around.
Nobody likes war. It is a horrible thing. But if war has to be waged, then it has to be total. Otherwise nothing will be achieved. The Israelis understand this; and they will probably prove, in the long run, to be the saviours of the West!
The price of petrol? I haven't noticed any difference. I couldn't tell you how much it costs a litre, because I never buy it that way. I always decide how much petrol my car needs, £20, £25, £30's worth and so on, and put it in. What I do know is this: Petrol is damned expensive here in the UK!
This morning's news relates that Israel is getting ready to move into Lebanon with ground forces.
May Israel strike a definitive blow to Hezbollah!
Always:
Israel has already moved in with ground forces. The Israelis will indeed "strike a definitive blow" to Hizbullah. I feel sure of that. They won't muck about as Westerners have been doing! The Israelis wage war as war must be waged: to win!
The international support for jihadists and international condemnation of Israel is not a great as I would have imagined. Also, Israel is more unified than I would have imagined. Even the left in Israel is mostly on board for the moment.
However, if I were in charge there, I’d go full force in a short period because the anti-Israel response (both internal and external) may be delayed but it is coming.
