East to Eurabia!

I'd like to share with you this excellent article written by Fjordman
In a true, totalitarian society such as the old Soviet Union, crime rates are usually low because of the crushing state control of all its citizens. Supposedly, street crime in Moscow in the USSR was rare, probably because the state itself was the biggest criminal. In contrast, in the European Union of today, which is not a totalitarian society, at least not yet, crime rates are booming in major cities. At the same time, authorities are stepping up censorship efforts, openly talking about media “speech codes” and aggressively slapping labels such as “racism” or “xenophobia” on anybody daring to criticize the immigration policies or pointing out the inadequate response to Muslim gang violence.

There is obviously a connection here: The less control the authorities have with Muslims, the more control they want to exercise over non-Muslims. As problems in Europe get worse, which they will, the EU will move in an increasingly repressive direction until it either becomes a true, totalitarian entity or falls apart. This strange mix of powerful censorship of public debate, yet little control over public law and order, has by some been labelled anarcho-tyranny. In Praise of the First and Second Amendments

Great article - Fjordman is excellent. I've just read an article in Quadrant Magazine (Australian) called "Britain's Policing Madness" by Hal G.P. Colebatch, and what an eye-opener it is.

There is an insane culture war going on where serious criminals are let off with a warning and ordinary citizens are proscecuted for defending themselves or displaying anything offensive to Muslims in their windows, or publicly saying anything considered offensive to Muslims or any other victim group member considered worthy.

Here's a brief quote - "England, from being a society remarkably free of crime and disorder, especially from the middle of the 19th to the middle of the 20th century, by the year 2000 had a worse record than France, Germany and the United States.

Mark, this is going to end very badly I think.

My guess is, looking at examples from history, that it'll fall apart. Not so much a guess as more of a hope really. Can't stand the EU.

I love Fjordman!

The EU was a pie dream of the far left since its inception. The idiocy that nationalism is evil is only applied to the USA and Israel.
The same clowns chamion Arab nationalism to almost absurd lengths.

The last bastion of the far left in America is our Universities. However competition from India will
force American Universities to educate and compette. The unspoken
truth is that Indian degrees contain next to zero Social Science Marxist indoctrination classes. American employers have noticed the difference. Either our colleges meet the Indian standard or we become irrelevant.

Yes. Curious that!

Yes, I agree. Americans cannot be complacent about this. These countries like India really are up and coming. If America and Europe don't put a spurt on, they'll be overtaken. Have you noticed how well-mannered Indians are when they deal with their customers? Far more well-mannered than Westerners generally are these days.
