Austria: Police Enforce Price Controls on Taxis after Scores of Refugees Scammed


Police officers began enforcing price controls on taxis at the Austrian border town of Nickelsdorf, Sunday, after scores of refugees were scammed by taxi drivers who charged excessive prices to reach Vienna and other Austrian cities. Drivers were reportedly charging refugees up to €1,000 ($1,120) to reach Vienna.
