Anti-Fascism Scholar Flees US Amid Trump's "Antifa" Fearmongering

Oct 15, 2025 | We speak with Rutgers University professor Mark Bray, who fled from the U.S. to Spain with his family after receiving death threats over his scholarship. He is the author of the 2017 book "Antifa: The Anti-Fascist Handbook," which explores the history and tactics of anti-fascist movements in Europe, the United States and beyond. Turning Point USA, the conservative campus group founded by Charlie Kirk, had called for Bray's firing and branded him "Dr. Antifa." This comes as the Trump administration has dramatically escalated its war on dissent following Kirk's assassination, using his death as pretext to launch an assault on activists, organizations and speech it disagrees with.

Pam Bondi Talking in a Commercial on Antifa

Jennifer Welch points out that the commercial is money wasted on a lie, on propaganda, and on gaslighting.

European Far Right Follows Trump in Calling for Antifa to Be Declared Terrorists

THE GUARDIAN: Netherlands and Hungary move towards designation as draft resolution reportedly backed by 79 MEPs in 20 countries

Where Donald Trump leads, Europe’s nationalists and far right follow. After a Truth Social post last month, when Trump announced the US would designate antifa, the decentralised anti-fascist movement, “a major terrorist organisation”, his international allies swung into action.

That same day, the Dutch parliament, where the largest party is Geert Wilders’ far-right PVV, passed a resolution, noting the US decision and calling on the government to declare antifa a terrorist organisation in the Netherlands.

Then the Hungarian prime minister, Viktor Orbán – more usually a source of inspiration for Trump – said his country would follow suit. Next, in the European parliament, a far-right MEP from the Flemish nationalist Vlaams Belang party drafted a resolution with the same request. Tom Vandendriessche announced last week that 79 MEPs from 20 countries supported his proposed text. In a video posted on X with ominous music playing, he described antifa as “an international network that is supported, financed and protected by the system to fight the nationalist opposition with violence”. » | Jennifer Rankin in Brussels | Sunday, October 12, 2025

Trump’s cancer is metastasizing rapidly, isn’t it? It will soon choke off freedom of speech and, by extension, freedom of thought! Without freedom of speech, freedom of thought is unthinkable. It is such a pity that Americans hadn’t the courage to lock up Trump when they had the chance to do so. Now, the West will have to pay the high price for their weakness and cowardice. Trumpism has already FU America, and now it is on course to FU the rest of the West as well! As an aside, I am sure that Winnie must be turning in his grave to learn that he was the Arch-Antifan! A message to all SANE folks! We are in the fight of our lives! Moreover, this could be the spark that sets off World War III! It’s going to be a battle for the soul of the western world. — © Mark Alexander

» | (albu/AFP) | Samstag, 11. Call Me Antifa – A Patriotic Protest Anthem for Freedom, Justice, and Love

Oct 9, 2025 | “Call Me Antifa” is a powerful modern protest anthem that redefines what it means to stand for freedom, justice, and democracy in America. Inspired by the spirit of the Greatest Generation who fought fascism in World War II, this song celebrates love over hate, peace over violence, and liberty over authoritarianism. With lyrics that honor unity, diversity, and the enduring American dream, “Call Me Antifa” pushes back against the fear and division spread by MAGA extremism and political scapegoating. This is a song for everyone who believes that being truly patriotic means standing up for civil rights, equality, and democracy itself.

The F-Word | Folk Protest Song Against Trump, MAGA, and Fascism

Sep 20, 2025 | “The F-Word” is a fiery folk protest song that calls out Donald Trump, MAGA Republicans, and their dangerous slide into fascism. With powerful lyrics that expose authoritarian lies, warn against the death of democracy, and rally listeners to resist, this track channels the spirit of classic protest anthems while speaking directly to today’s political crisis. Targeting the corruption, suppression, and creeping dictatorship of Trumpism, “The F-Word” reminds us that fascism is the opposite of freedom and must be fought with unity, truth, and people power. If you believe in democracy, resistance, and standing against authoritarian rule, this is your song.

Kristi Noem and Trump Compare Non-violent 'Antifa' to ISIS and Hamas in New Crackdown on Opponents

Oct 10, 2025 | The Trump regime is intensifying its campaign against left-wing activism that opposes it's own rhetoric. At a White House roundtable, Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem compared antifa to ISIS, Hamas, and Hezbollah—calling them “just as dangerous.” Days earlier, President Trump signed an executive order declaring antifa a “domestic terrorist organization,” despite experts saying the non-violent movement has no central leadership or structure.

This woman is truly ignorant. Antifa is NOT “left-wing”. You can be right-wing and still be an Antifan. Doesn’t Kristi Noem realise that were Winston Churchill to be alive today, he would be considered an ‘Antifan’, too! In fact at that time, during World War II, he led the Antifans! This 1954 Speech Could Have Been Written for 2025

Oct 9, 2025 | In 1954, journalist Edward R. Murrow delivered one of the most important broadcasts in American history, directly challenging Senator Joseph McCarthy during the Red Scare.

His words about fear, freedom, and responsibility resonate powerfully in 2025, as the United States faces new political turmoil, authoritarian rhetoric, and division.

This video features Murrow’s famous “See It Now” speech, combined with powerful visuals that connect the dangers of McCarthyism to today’s challenges. Murrow warned: “We must not confuse dissent with disloyalty.” That message is just as urgent today as it was 70 years ago.

"Good night, and good luck."

— © Mark Alexander
