BREITBART.COM: A highly regarded researcher and academic has warned that Muslims in Europe view migration as the start of the Islamisation of the continent. Prof. Abdessamad Belhaj also detailed how globalists are using Muslim migrants to turn Western countries into socially divided societies of easily-controlled consumers.

German Anti-Islam Movement Suffers Blow With Loss of Central Figure

THE WALL STREET JOURNAL: Co-Founder Resigns After Derogatory Comments Aired, Hitler Photo Published

BERLIN—Germany’s swelling anti-Islam movement suffered the biggest blow in its four-month existence Wednesday with the resignation of one of its central figures after photos of him posing as Hitler surfaced along with derogatory remarks he had made regarding refugees.

Lutz Bachmann, co-founder of the European Patriots against the Islamization of the Occident, told The Wall Street Journal that he would resign from the board of the group, known by its German acronym Pegida.

He said his decision was a result of the online comments, which were published by the German branch of the Anonymous hacker collective. They included screenshots of a private Facebook chat in which Mr. Bachmann called asylum-seekers “scumbags,” “animals” and “trash.”

Dresden Marchers Fan Anti-Islam Flames in Germany

THE DAILY TELEGRAPH: More than 10,000 people march against the "Islamisation of the West" in Dresden

Heavily armed riot police were out in force on the streets of Dresden on Monday night as more than 10,000 people demonstrated against the "Islamisation" of the country, in the latest show of strength of a far-right populist movement that mainstream politicians have described as "a disgrace to Germany".

Pegida, a German acronym for Patriotic Europeans against the Islamisation of the West, is leading a grassroots movement that is setting the political agenda in Germany, despite being just two months old and with no links to existing parties.

The Justice Minister, Heiko Maas, said they were a "disgrace to Germany", while a state minister in North Rhine-Westphalia called them "Nazis in pinstripe".

Angela Merkel, the German chancellor, condemned the protests earlier on Monday and called on those taking part to "take care that they were not exploited" by the far-Right.

"There is freedom to demonstrate in Germany, but there is no place for propaganda and slander against people who come here from another country," Mrs Merkel said.

In Dresden, police were out in force to keep rival protestors apart as thousands also took part in a counter-demonstration.

THE MAIL ON SUNDAY: A historic Church of England diocese where Muslim worshippers outnumber Anglican churchgoers by two to one is set to be scrapped.

According to sources, the Dioceses Commission is drawing up proposals to axe the cash-strapped Diocese of Bradford in Yorkshire and merge it with neighbouring Ripon and Leeds.

Some are pressing for both dioceses to be subsumed into the adjoining Diocese of York, to create a ‘superdiocese’ under Archbishop of York John Sentamu, the Church’s second-most powerful leader.

The first major shake-up of dioceses for almost 100 years could also see senior ­bishops replaced by lower-paid juniors, and ­millions of pounds shaved off central administration costs.

The move comes at a time when the Church is facing a severe financial squeeze, with £1billion wiped off its national assets last year.

Insiders said the crisis was particularly acute in parts of the country where population shifts had accelerated a general decline in churchgoing, hitting church collections which feed diocesan coffers.
One said: ‘Some areas with a high concentration of Muslim migrants have experienced “white flight” and the Church is struggling to maintain a foothold.’

Successive governments refuse to do anything about the ludicrous multicultural policies we have been pursuing. The truth is that they have opened up a Pandora's box; and they haven't got the wherewithal to put the lid back on again. They are bereft of the necessary courage to do anything meaningful about the problems we face. As a result, if current policies are to be continued, Britain as we have known and loved it will soon cease to exist. British Christian culture will be subsumed into Islamic ‘culture’. Britain will become part of the Dar ul Islam. The time for this is fast approaching. And what does Cameron go on about? His fatuous 'big society'. A meaningless concept if ever I heard one.

This country needs strong government: a government that will be prepared to take all the necessary measures to halt the process of Islamization, and turn back the tide where possible.

Gordon Brown claimed success yesterday in his attempt to persuade Saudi Arabia to help stricken economies by pumping more money into the International Monetary Fund... Lord Mandelson, who was also at the dinner at the Royal Palace, said Mr Brown wanted to ensure that the Saudi King was ‘on the same page’ over the causes of the financial problems and the solutions. ‘We are seeking “buy-in” from Saudi Arabia and other Gulf states to the necessary response that we all need to make to the turmoil of the international financial system. If we don’t get that money we will fail,’ Lord Mandelson said...

Lord Mandelson said that the Saudis and other Gulf states would now expect a bigger role in global institutions in return for their investment.

You bet they will. Gordon Brown and Peter Mandelson are delivering Britain and the west into dhimmitude.*

You Cannot Stage a Rally to Stop the Islamization of Europe, Say Officials in Brussels
RADIO FREE EUROPE, RADIO LIBERTY: September 5, 2007 (RFE/RL) -- Officials in Brussels, the capital city of the European Union, have denied activists' request to stage a rally next week under the slogan “Stop the Islamisation of Europe.”

Organizers of the rally in Brussels had expected some 20,000 people to arrive from Germany, Britain, and Denmark to rally peacefully to demonstrate their concerns about the growing influence of Islam in Europe.

Participants intended to protest what they called the “creeping” influence of Islam and introduction “by stealth” of Shariah law in Europe. The march -- timed to coincide with the anniversary of the September 11, 2001 terror attacks in the United States -- was to conclude with a minute of silence for the victims of the attacks.

But last month, Brussels Mayor Freddy Thielemens banned the march. An administrative court last week upheld Thielemens’ ban, but the demonstrators have one last chance.
