Saudi Media Flaunt American Who Converted to Islam: ‘I Have Joined the Religion of Truth’

BREITBART.COM: The Saudi news media continue to spotlight the story of an America employee at Jeddah’s international airport whose conversion to Islam went viral in the Kingdom last week after video of the event was published.

Last week, Breitbart Jerusalem reported on the video, in which a group of Saudis surround the American employee while they exclaim the “Shahadatain,” an Islamic pillar of faith, meaning, “There is no God but Allah and Mohammad is the prophet of Allah.”

After the American employee himself declares the “Shahadatain,” his Saudi colleagues shout, “Allahu Akbar,” meaning Allah is great, and they are seen hugging and kissing theAmerican over his conversion to Islam. It was not immediately clear when the video was taken.

On Friday, the Saudi Sabq news website published an extensive interview with the American, for the first time revealing his name to be Rick Harrison.

US Envoy in Sudan Forced to Resign after Accepting Islam

Sudanese local media sources said that the US envoy was
forced to resign after he turned to Islam

WORLD BULLETIN: The US charge d’affaires in Khartoum, Joseph D Stafford, resigned from his post after he converted to Islam, Sudanese local media sources said.

Stafford told the foreign ministry that his resignation was made for "personal reasons" but Sudanese sources claimed that the envoy was forced to resign after he turned to Islam.

Sources said that Stafford has recorded visits to the headquarters of Ansar al-Sunnah in Sudan and established a close relationship with a number of Sudanese clerics through these visits.

Report: Many Al Qaida Agents Are U.S. Christian Converts to Islam
WORLD TRIBUNE: WASHINGTON — Al Qaida has targeted Christians for recruitment in operations against the United States, according to a new report.

The Henry Jackson Society found that Al Qaida was wooing American Christians interested in Islam as potential recruits for operational and sleeper cells.

In a 720-page report, the society said nearly a quarter of all identified Al Qaida operatives in the United States were Christians who had converted to Islam.
